Emergency Department at Collie District Hospital

Since our opening in 1998, we have consistently provided Collie District Hospital with a dedicated on-call doctor for emergencies. The Emergency Department is staffed by nurses that are employed by the hospital. Patients are assessed by the emergency nurse and a doctor is called if it is deemed urgent. Phone advice may be given for treatment and attendance is not always required. However, if it is a serious emergency, our doctor can always attend personally and they are never more than 5 minutes from the hospital. Please note that the emergency department is not a substitute for the comprehensive GP services offered at CRVMC during our normal business hours.
