Where are we located in WA?

Collie is a beautiful rural town located approximately 200km southeast of Perth and about 60km east of Bunbury. Our community has around 10,000 people and is well serviced by modern medical facilities, including CRVMC and Collie District Hospital, and a variety of sports facilities, featuring an excellent golf course that is enjoyed by both locals and visitors alike. Educational options include three primary schools, a high school and a TAFE campus. Additionally, the town has several retail shops, such as Coles and Woolworths, to cater to the needs of the local residents.

Nestled in the midst of a stunning national forest, Collie offers beautiful walking trails, such as the famous Bibbulmun Track, opportunities for mountain biking via the Munda Biddi Trail, waterskiing on the picturesque Stockton Lake, and kayaking along the serene Collie River. Lake Kepwari and Honeymoon Pool boast beautiful camping spots that are perfect for family outings. Furthermore, visitors can explore the natural beauty of Wellington National Park, discover local wineries, and enjoy scenic picnic areas that offer tranquil views of the countryside.

Collie is well known for its coal industry. There are two open cut mines that supply coal to Muja and Bluewaters power stations, which play a critical role in the local economy. This industrial presence enables CRVMC to be ideally positioned to offer a diverse range of occupational health services tailored to support the local workforce.
